  1. Some short mission statements I found:

    Norfolk
OCCUPY NORFOLK in solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street Movement and occupations across the globe is a non-violent, non-partisan assembly that uses peaceful protest and direct action to bring about substantive systemic change. We resolve to remove the disproportionate influence of corporations and moneyed interests from the democratic process.

“Occupy Chicago is here to fight corporate abuse of American democracy in solidarity with our brothers and sisters around the world.”

    We The People
of Boulder, Colorado stand in solidarity with our sisters & brothers at Occupy Wall Street and across the globe, united in the common aims of ending corporate greed, curbing wealth inequality, reforming corrupt government, and transforming a financial system that is socially, ecologically, and economically unjust, unethical, and simply unsustainable.
Inspired by the Arab Spring, the European Summer, and the revolution now spreading worldwide, we are occupying public space, opening public dialogue, reclaiming true democracy, and creating the change we want to see in this world.
We are the 99%. We are everywhere. Join us.”
