Healthcare costs need to be addressed. I pay more than $ $500 a month for myself, one person. I stuck myself with a needle and it started to throb at night and I couldn’t sleep. I have to milk at 5:30 AM and I went to the hospital, Good Samaritan. I got an antibiotic and it cost $1200.00. Keiser picked up most of it but my share was $200. For a needle puncture.

We need healthier food and we need to pay our small farmers more, rather than corporate farms. I’ve been a dairy farmer for 34 years, and I still work almost every day of the year, and I make a very modest income. Yes, I own the farm, but the annual income is very small from it. We need to address the income inequality in this country.

We need less prejudice. Everybody is worried about who can marry and not enough about how to keep families together. Kids are growing up in families torn apart.
